They were coming soon. The Volturi. They were coming to check on Bella again, and possibly to recruit Edward and I.

I need to tell Edward. Fast.

Inevitable?

Bella was a part of our family now. I was happy for her, she was such a blessing to Edward. He needed someone to be with, his soulmate.

I could tell, even though she was so adamant about being changed, our Bella had fear evident through her eyes, I wonder if Edward purposefully ignored it, or was blissfully oblivious. I for one hope is the second one. I was anxious for Bella to join our family, and if Edward picked up a trace of that fear, he'd prolong her inevitable fate. I knew that she would turn into one of our kind, I had seen it. My visions had never failed me before.

Thank god for Jasper, he was the one who calmed Charlie down enough to let Bella leave. In this kind of situations, Edward was some kind of a disappointment. He had the charisma, but hardly any people skills in tense situations.

The house was in sight. I wanted to stop dwelling on these kind of things, and thank goodness for that distraction. I ran into the house, dragging Jasper in tow. He would not be happy, but it would be worth it. I winked at Bella as she passed.

Once inside, I dashed to the room with the largest window. "I want this one!" I squealed in delight. The European scenery was fabulous. Jasper had to concede. There was no way he could win this fight. I was as stubborn as I could be in this kind of things.

I heard Rosalie claim the room the furthest from us, as was the tradition.
